Posted a couple of days ago a link to the documentary ‘Genie der Natur’ (‘Genius of Nature’) which is all about mechanics of movement. I found part 2 (about Material) and 3 (about Energy) of the documentary now, they are brilliant, but only available in German.
Really glad I found those, as one of the topics most interesting for me related to animation is how haptic...

This documentary is all about the mechanics of movement, it’s fascinating and really inspiring - I’d love to build and animate an insect, found the video while researching the walkcycle of a woodlouse.
PS: German language version only
